![]() I only need a phone for making calls, I don’t browse the net, watch videos or any of the other “wonderful” things you can do with a smartphone when you’re not at home. Now live and working at least when the servers are working let’s take a look at what the Companion App can do for us. At first flush, this sounds like a transient server-side issue. I logged out from all devices a 2nd time so the most recent login was only the session on the website from my phone. Just get a smartphone, then you can use the app like everyone else. Fortunately, Blizzard has a plan for our resources, and that’s to give the WoW Companion App access to multiple expansions in the latest update. The recent access panel is precisely where the LOG OUT FROM ALL DEVICES link is. How many of us idly, randomly browse the net while eating lunch, dinner or having a snack instead of trying to eat and focus on the game? I for one (possibly the only one) would quite like to access the companion features while doing any of the above. We could, like others using the app simply look up the character, select the missions and off we go. Been 2 days now, tried all the usual clearing cache, uninstall, reinstall etc etc, still the same. Probably the biggest reason against it.īut having a desktop version, maybe even through the Battlenet app, would mean we wouldn’t always have to log into the game to do these things. Exact same problem here, click login, get to character selection screen, all characters there so definitely getting logged in that far, click on character and just get connecting until it goes back to login screen. If you’re on a PC, you can just log into the game and do everything from there. ![]() I can already see some of the arguments against. Logging out on a different character still shows me online, just on that character instead. Also, when logging out and closing wow entirely, my friends still see me online and playing wow on that same character/realm even after a significant amount of time. Let us all use our various command tables, located in different locations, without having to physically move the character there.Īdd another aspect to everyone’s gameplay. Says my account is already logged in on the WoW companion app. Anyone else out there that would like the WoW companion to be available on PC’s It’s all fine and dandy for people with smart phones to pick up the current companion and indulge in managing command tables remotely. But how about giving desktop users that ability too? 1 Half expecting this to crash and burn, but nothing ventured. Reset your user interface to make sure your files and addons are not corrupted You may need to wait to allow the server to remove the character, which happens after 30 minutes of inactivity Tried everything here If you have tried these steps and still require assistance, please visit our Technical Support Forums or contact us.
